Our research examines how environmental conditions, including land use and management practices, affect pollinators, with a focus on monarch butterflies, native bees, and butterflies and moths. Recent projects have investigated monarch responses to temperature, humidity, and light regimes; pollinator responses to prescribed fire and seeding in grasslands, prescribed fire and grazing in rangelands, mowing in roadsides, and pesticide applications in canola-wheat-pasture systems.
